*Validation of a stl file

Justify the file : select Left Back -Bottom
Check is selected Serial part
Check service and powder level in the machine
On the file if is any part in black you can print it

painting

I paint the car whit aluminum color spray and the light with with and the back light wit red

mold

we create the mold to termoform and now created the body of the car and to create a new proposal of color and form for the base of the car.
when we try to termoform the machine was broken because some people of a master ware making some experiments with the machine. So we try like 5 times because the air succion dosent work.
At the end we have the molds and the thermoform with pet.

Roland

we validate the file and star programing the roland to print our cars.
the file will be finish in 16 hours.

How to used the roland:
dont push the calibrate bottons
how to move the drill (without the bunny)
how to move the bed ( with the bunny)
how to stop the process (with pause)
how to select the highest point (sensor)

25 feb

We finish modeling the volume of the car to start modifying to make a different proposal of the car.
How to pass the car to a mesh (with more numbers of triangles) then you have to export as an stl file selecting the mesh volume model so you can review if the modeling is ok with the program of VISCAM VIEW (check the unmatched edges or the problems on the file)
How to program the file of the model with Roland player4 to use the roland 650
A new scaner zcorp 700 is used for a quickly and more precise scann the only thing is that you have to put some points so the scanner can detect what it have to scan.

Modeling (18 feb)

We start modeling on rhino all the out side on the base car that we scan to make it a solid part, we have the reference of the scanning.

You can scan an object and make it digital to modify the form.
On rhino you have to activate 3D-digitizer

"Thinking in prototypes"

Some years ago having a prototype durable or almost perfect to prove it wasn´t be able. One way to make the persons could experience an idea was only by making a render, but at this way the people can´t experience how is the product like how it does feel or if they can used it.

Other thing that the prototypes is to help to make it like a three dimensional sketchpad, to prove that it could be mechanically viable and to make less or correct the mistakes early so it could reduce the cost on the production.

Rapid prototyping can help the design cycle but it need to have some trial en error to create new things and because mistakes are inevitable.

The proces on design some times is better to make a render or a sketch but when some person is going to interact with a person is when you can use this proces of rapid prototyping.

People that taste a product could not touch the prototyp because it can break but with tis process they can touch it and you can see perfectly if is usefull or not you can see mistakes and it could be corrected by a lower price that if you see the mistake when the product is all ready on market.
